Country style table centerpieces for spring: soft and fresh
How we longed for soft pastel colours these past few weeks… Until finaly this week end, we could indulge in a bit of colour therapy with a beautiful christening celebration in Chavannes de Bogis near Geneva. So we lost ourselves in a symphony of tulips, peonies, jasmine and delicate amelanchier blossoms. The dazzling scent of jasmine quickly took over the venue blending together aromatic pink and white florals with delicious mint green accents.
Anything’s possible with these country style table centerpieces for spring:
Our client’s only request: nothing too baby pink for her daughters aged 9 and 12. Well, that was our chance to exploit the love we’ve felt for mint green lately! Soft shades of pink, aqua, emerald green… the colours for our country style table centerpieces for spring are harmonious, light and luminous. We feel happy just looking at these flowers! Our client was warm and gentle, we designed the florals to reflect her and her family’s kindness. The avalanche roses in these spring arrangements compliment perfectly the tulips, spring flower by excellence! Discreet but oh so stunning, our rice flowers charmed everyone with their delicate iridescent pink accents.
Inside or outside? Our country style table centerpieces for spring open the doors to the garden
The reception dinner for this christening was taking place in a stunning conservatory, bringing the whole decor alive under an extraordinary light. This whimsical place was a nice reminder that inside can actually feel like outside! So you guessed it! We just couldn’t resist inviting dropping branches of pieris japonica and its thousands white bells and the delightful amelanchier blossoms to this party. Just like in our garden!
The key to a light but inspired decor also comes from the choice of containers. Here we played the textures of romantic ceramic pots, printed with a vintage rose pattern along with the shiny copper accents of small cylindrical vases. In contrast, we also chose to exploit the clean lines of simple glass bottles dressed up with lace and fine ribbons for the occasion.
