Before establishing Arôme in Geneva in 2012, Anne Verborg set-up her floral design firm in London in 2006. Over years, Arôme has become widely recognized as one of the top florists in the British capital as well as Geneva, counting many famous names among its clientèle: Moët-Hennessy – LVMH Group, Vivienne Westwood, IWC Schaffhausen , Van Cleef & Arpels to name just a few.
More recently, Anne shared her passion for floral design on TV when she participated in the UK television show Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas, which aired in prime time on Channel 4 in December 2015 in Great Britain.
Anne Verborg is also a regular contributor on Houzz, the world’s largest website and online community about architecture, interior design and decorating.
Arôme by Anne Verborg’s beautiful arrangements have graced the covers of many bridal magazines (Wedding, Wedding Flowers…) and have been been featured in countless glossy magazines such as Cosmopolitan Bride or even the Louis Vuitton City Guide.
Arôme’s signature style is a mix of eclectic élégance and sophistication. Vibrant colours and dramatic monochromatic creations are the trademark of Anne Verborg, a florist inspired by a very unusual career path.
Anne completed her international business studies in France, Poland and the USA where she graduated from the prestigious MBA Program at Notre Dame University, IN. She went on to work for famous luxury brand-names such as Van Cleef and Arpels and Lalique in New York City. Her appeal for floral arts came early on and she graduated from the Floral Art Program at Parsons – The New School for Design in NYC, a famous institution in Manhattan counting prominent alumni such as Norman Rockwell, Marc Jacobs or Tom Ford. Anne then trained with Manhattan’s go-to celebrity florist Belle Fleur in New York City and internationally acclaimed florist Paula Pryke in London.
The colours, textures and architectural shapes one can admire in Arôme’s créations are directly inspired by memories garnered during Anne’ travels. Her traveling adventures include a memorable trip around the world by bicycle: a year-long voyage that saw Anne and her husband immerse themselves in exotic and colorful places including Tahiti, Bali, Rajahstan, Panama… providing the budding florist with a lifelong source of inspiration.
Today, Anne Verborg has settled in the Alps of her childhood, where she lives with her husband and three children. Here, she cultivates her love of flowers and everything beautiful, making breathtaking floral arrangements for your pleasure!
